This is Kiara trying to smile at Grandma....but she was not happy! She woke up with a lot of pain!
First she was irritated with the oxygen counter on her finger so the nurse put it on her ear...she didn't really like that either...
but I had to take a picture because when do you see an oxygen thing on an ear? Kiara began to really cry after this...her pain was too much for her so the nurse doped her up again and things got better. I wanted to hold her soooo bad and just rock her...I offered but she wanted grandma yearsley...so we set her onto grandmas lap...who was in a rocking chair...and they rocked but Kiara didn't get much better......not till the drugs got to her system....so we put here back in bed...they put the oxygen thing on her toe and life got better.
Okay so I tried to flip this pic but...its just staying upside down...this is Kiara's incision...not too big for all that pain!
Well Kiara is doing good enough it is time to go home. Grandma Jeffs got her her favorite clown balloon and Grandma Yearsley brought her some comfy PJs! Time to get unattached from all this stuff!!!

I.V.s got to go....have you ever seen an IV in the ankle before? Kiara was so into cartoons and on the meds that she barley noticed them taking out the IV! or the oxygen counter from her toe.

Here is my girl....no wheel chairs for her...warm blankets from the dryer and her blue monkey blanket...a few pillows and the wagon......"Don't forget my balloon mom!" Ahhhh the ride of queens!

This is Kiara back at home.....all in all a pretty quick day ....it went well. Kiara did throw up once at home...but is keeping things down now and playing video games and watching movies. Sill needs help getting to the bathroom as she doesn't quite feel like standing strait yet. All the other children are at Grandma Yearsley's with Kari too. They are keeping the kids over night so I can just be with Kiara....My family is so wonderful....my mom was such great help today I know I could not do today alone...I just didn't realize how bad off I would have been until Kiara started to be in pain...I just cried... kandee and my mother helped me get through my own mess and never let Kiara see her mommy fall apart. With the surgery over I feel a weight lifted from me!

The Pumkin Patch Trip
We look happy and like we are having a great time...and we were. We went out to the pumpkins and everyone picked thier favorite one to take home..Jacob's was HUGE!!!, Kiaras was as usual odd shaped but at least she picked one with no mold and that stood up....sometimes it is hard to get her to understand those ruls. After thew hey ride we went to the jump house and animal area..... AND BOOM!!!!! Winds gushed in so fast and hard it took the jumphouses off the ground and flopped them over into the corn field. Luckily our small children had already come out..Jacob was still in there but got out ok. Getting Greg and the kids back to the car was an event all in itself...I wish I thought to take a picture after we go to saftey! Canoys were gone..rain and wind was still blowing dabree everywhere...we were covered in muck....It was a very unforgetable...exiting trip this year!
