Greg's Headstone

This is the head stone of Greg and I's resting place. Although it is not nice to have to have one...it is nice that it is finally here, and it looks nice!

The girls went with me....their interest is about one minuet but hey...they each brought their daddy something. Tristynn said that Gorge Washington had died and daddy had died so daddy would like this.....
Trinitee brought a baggy full of shammerocks from her party at school...so cute arn't they.

I had each of the girls help put flowers in the vase at the grave site...we started with 6 carnations but after two got ripped off I desided I had better supervise.

Well this is the finished product...not profecional but I know Greg would tell me it was the BEST!!!!

Leprechaun Traps!! Whooo Hoooo!!

Tristynn and Trinitee had family projects due at school...they each were asked to make Leprechaun Traps...they have to be able to explain them to thier class. So as a family, we put these together. Each girl was adiment that there be a rainbow in their trap!! These are pictures of our finishing touches and finished traps!

Tristynn's is a hidden cage in the clouds that drops when the gold is moved.
Trinitee's is a rock wall with a trap door next to the gold.

Thought you might enjoy seeing these!

My Greg Blanket!!

Here is a story that needs told...well I think so anyway..... My friend Lisa, and I came up with the idea to make me a confort blanket for when I am watching movies by myself without my husband....we all know he LOVED to sit and watch movies with me...the blanket was to help me feel close to him and not so lonely. It took some doing to pick the pictures...I was going to do 20 8 x 10 but could not narrow the pictures down that far...soooooo I have 56 pictures on my blanket. We went to pick out material and came up with the idea of useing Greg,s T-shirts....which was soooooo hard to pack up and send away to Lisa's house. Anyway...here is my wonderful blanket. I love it so much and use it every day!!!
More pic of the blanket...just closer up so you could see everything!!

Daddy Blanket!!!

Now you have seen how wonderful it is...think about how much my children love it. They sit around touching it..talking about the different photos and memories. Trinitee was not feeling good one day so she wraped herself up in the "daddy blanket" and went to sleep. This blanket comforts more than just me. Which can cause problems.......my girls started fighting over the blanket and ripped a small whole in the blue south pole shirt (quite worn, you know) Soooooo I desided they needed there own "daddy blankets"

The Girls' Daddy blankets!

Trinitee's Tristynn's
Kiara's

Breeanna's

They each picked their own 5 pictures and I cut and sewed them.
Grandma Yearsley and Aunt Kari help pick out the material....and bless Grandma Yearsley for helping to tie them. The girls love them...Trinitee wraped herself up right away...pointed at the picture and told me "This is my dad" (I guess she forgot that I had met the guy)
Anyway...they are done and they are loved and hopefully I can keep my "daddy Blanket" in one piece!

Jacob Turns 16!!!

Here are some pictures of Jake's 16th birthday party....just family oh, and Sean..Jake's new best friend. We had a few snacks, played a balloon poping puzzle game, opened presents and ate cake....it went great! Happy Sweet 16 Jacob!!
