More fun in the water

roaring springs with Grandma!!!

We went to Roaring Springs with my mother on Thursday and the girls just had a blast. I really thought I would be sitting around the kiddie pool the whole time but the girls were tall enough to ride all the rides but three...crazy!!! My mother brought the life vests and saved me a lot of worry.

Jacob has grown!!!!!

Can you believe how tall our son is?????? This picture doesn't even do it justice...he is sooooooo tall!!! He is 6' 4" it is so crazy. Greg has to look "up" to talk to him.....too funny. Anyway I thought you would like to see him. He (Jacob) is doing very well and has started the paperwork to be transferred to my parents house in less than 30 days...I think they said around the 10th of July. I still worry about his manipulation and he still gets angry...however he deals with it different .... better. I keep saying my prayers and setting the best example I can...we are planning to have him every Monday for family home evening and for other family events...I hope our choices, our guidance and examples help him choose the right path. Anyway...I just really wanted to post his pictures...it is so hard to believe I am the mother of such a tall child!!!

Just a few family reunion photos.....sometimes I really wish I could afford a great camera. Mine takes pictures good enough...just every once in a while I see a shot I think would be phenomenal...but just can't catch it with this camera....
The reunion was funner than I expected...a few of my cousins even made it. It was nice to catch up. Greg spent most of the time inside with our son playing video games....hey at least he was spending time with Jacob.

She got a hair cut!

Bree and the girls joined the Meridian Summer Reading Program. Bree received a free hair cut at Sports Clip. In the past we have not been extremely happy with Sports Clip but hey...free is free. So we went to get her hair cut today....she told them what she wanted and how short. They did awesome it is exactly what she wanted...and we think its cute too. She looks a little older. I think it may be easier for her to keep it nice looking too. (Something we all appreciate)

ISN'T SHE A BEAUTY?!?!?

Easter Egg Hunt In The Dark

All the grandkids ready to find Easter eggs IN THE DARK! Flashlights ready!! What a blast! It was a little rainy but no one cared. Every two minutes Trinitee would ask "Is it dark enough Grandma?" Brandon would find an egg and shout "I found one ...look!" and then shine his flashlight on the egg....soooo funny! This is a new tradition at my mother's house for Easter. If you have never done a hunt in the dark...try it!!!

Grandpa and the girls!

playdough

Yet another ..."Hey mom, take my picture." from Kiara
And Tristynn wasn't letting that opportunity pass!

Christmas

The Festival of Trees

Kiara loves to dance!
And she loves to pose!

The Holliday Parade!

Tristynn, Trinitee, Bree, and Greg all rode the Head Start bus in the Holliday Parade. Greg was part of the committee to decorate the bus. They had a great time. Kiara had a dance recital at the Festival of Trees so Kiara and I dropped off the twins, took some pictures (good for me...patting myself on the back) and ran off to kiaras recital.

Grandma and me.

Kiara is very into saying..."Mom take a picture of....." Whatever is happening at the moment. I think she has a little of her Aunt Kim in her! If we take half the pics she wants taken we will have more than plenty to keep our blog updated! Of course she wants them mostly of her where as Aunt Kim's pics are of everything and everyone around and exiting...maybe Kiara will grow into that! LOL
