This is Trinitee receiving the Citizen of the YEAR award . The thing that amazes me here is the fact that we lost Greg this year and my Trinitee still received this award...FOR THE YEAR...not a month or whatever but the whole year...she is such a helper to others just like her daddy....he is so proud of her...I just know.

Grandma and I were a little teary durining the assembly...knowing how much Greg would have loved to be there.

Father's Day Balloons

For Father's Day this year I had each child tell me what message they would want daddy to know...I then wrote the message on each of their own balloons (their favorite colors) and then they sighned them. After that the plan was to take them to the gravesite and let them go to daddy.

As you can see...we are not at the grave site...it was a crapy day...raining after church so when we got a small break in weather we went out back and sent the balloons off...the kids loved this.

Trinitee said "the balloons don't really go to Heaven...they pop when they get to the clouds" Smart girl.

Tristynn wanted to let her daddy know about things that are happening now in her life...her favorite shows and things she was doing.

Kiara mostly wrote about goals..like we will all be together again someday, like she promiced to love everyone...that her and the girls will get along...it was so cute how she wantted to reasure her dad that everything here was okay.

Bree misses Greg more than she lets on to the outside world. This balloon thing was really good for her I think!

I also sent a balloon to my babe.....my hubby.....I still miss him so!!!! But I did not take a pic of myself........Happy Father's Day Honey!

Donuts with Daddy......

Trinitee's class had donuts with daddy to celibrate father's day before school let out. Trinitee was very worried as she did not have a daddy to go with her. She would ask me what she was suppose to do.

Great Grampa Davis came to Trinitee's class. She LOVED having him there to celibrate father's day......Thank you so much grandpa for being there for my girls...we love you!

Mothers Day at Tristynn and Trinitee's school.

Grandma Yearsley came to the mothers day tea party. We watch movies with the girls, drank juice and had cookies. Thanks for coming Grandma....it would have been hard with two classes to be in....we loved having you there.

memorial day camping

Well this year our family did not go up Saigehen and spend the weekend....instead we went for a day trip. We had a ton of fun. We went for a hike, where I fell and hurt my knee, but other than that the day was great, fire pits, roasting marshmellows, fishing, and running with the cousins. Missed having Greg with us....I am sure it will take a while before it does not feel weird that he is not with us.
